To compliment the new track, the music video was filmed in regional Australia and around Benn’s home town on the South Coast.
For him, the song was the perfect match to his voice and country roots and a steller production team in Nashville was the icing on the cake.
“When they pitched the song to me, I thought straight away that this is Kiama where I live, it worked really well and it sounds great.I went over to Nashville to record the last album and got the opportunity to work with guys that have written and produced pretty much most of my record collection which was amazing,” he said.
In creating his new video Gunn was supported by local council funding which helped him showcase the stunning scenery of his local area. And to top it all off, – the film clip was shot in one day.
As for the next few months, all roads lead to Tamworth for Gunn. “I’ll be in Tamworth, there’s a showcase I’ll definitely be doing at the moment,” he said.
”This will be my ninth, the fact that it engulfs the whole town, it’s not like any other festival. That experience, while celebrating in the town of Tamworth, it starts to feel like your second home.
“It’s always been one of my mottos to be able to share my gift with as many people as possible, and if I’m still inspiring people and people get a kick out of it, I’ll keep creating it.”
