THE Tingha Tigers Rugby League Club has another 17,996 reasons to continue its century-long existence, after it was awrded a state grant for the home ground. Northern Tablelands MP Adam Marshall was in Tingha recently to announce a $17,996 grant from the State Government and said the funding would help the Tingha Tigers better cater for the large crowds that attend hometown games. “Sports like football are essential to fuel community pride,” Marshall said.
