Duri School will be performing two dances at the festival, a senior dance called “Counting Stars” and a junior dance “Better When I’m Dancing”.
Due to the small size of the school, everyone who wants to be involved has a chance to be part of the Dance Festival.
Each student can achieve in their given role, regardless of their various skill levels and confidence.
All the students that participate benefit from working together as a team and seeing their combined efforts bring the performances to a high standard.
It is also a great opportunity for their family members to see them perform.
Students will have the opportunity to share the stage with hundreds of students from across the region.
After much rehearsing, learning steps and costume design we are ready to hit the stage.
