Is the country in need of a whipcracker?

Modern Australia:

Country person working all the week, dosing of sheep, shearing, fencing, etc, meets his mates at the hotel, only has four drinks;

Driving home for tea is pulled over for a breath test, heavily fined, loses his licence;

City man on the dole is at the pub all day, breaks into a house, bashes an old lady, is told that’s naughty, good behaviour for one month;

City sportsman takes illegal drugs to boost his performance, he is a legend, we look up to him;

Radio man passes a remark regarding our PM, the truth is not important, the timing is wrong;

The ALP media and the government attack the Opposition, “It’s Tony Abbott’s fault”.

How about a fair crack of the whip?
