Police have been told the Wirraway St business was locked and secured on Friday night by employees.
About 10pm, an alarm sounded. Offenders damaged a back roller door to get entry to the store and stole 10 boxes of cheese and bacon pies from a freezer.
The 240 pies had an estimated value of $960.
Police are investigating.
Meanwhile, a Holden sedan has been towed away by police for fingerprinting after thieves robbed a Susanne St home in Tamworth on Saturday night.
Offenders broke in through a back window between 7.45 and 8.45pm and ransacked the house.
They stole $50 in cash as well as the keys to the Holden, which was parked in the garage.
Police were alerted after witnesses reported seeing the maroon sedan being driven down Green St with a flat tyre.
The stolen car was found dumped in the old brickworks. Anyone with information on the break-in or who saw any suspicious activity is urged to contact Tamworth police.
And, an investigation is underway after a pizza delivery car was damaged by rock-throwers in West Tamworth.
An employee was driving the Toyota Yaris west on Hillvue Rd about 7pm on Saturday night.
He told officers he turned onto Duri Rd and shortly after heard a large bang.
The driver discovered a dent to the front side panel of the car and a chipped windscreen and saw three juveniles running away.
Police said the three boys are described as being of Aboriginal in appearance and aged between 12 and 16.
Anyone who saw the trio acting suspiciously is urged to contact police.
