A MAN has been arrested and charged with an alleged aggravated robbery at a Quirindi service station last month.
Following a lengthy investigation police arrested the 37-year-old man just before noon on Wednesday at a house in Centre St, Quirindi.
Police allege about 7.30pm on Sunday, September 30, the man entered a service station on Station St and approached the console operator, demanding she hand over money.
The woman handed over a small amount of cash and the man left.
Following Wednesday’s arrest the man was charged with aggravated robbery.
He was refused bail at a brief appearance in the Tamworth Bail Court on Wednesday and has been remanded in custody until his next appearance in Tamworth Local Court on October 22.
