JULIA Gillard and some of her female ALP politicians must have bitten off their tongues after announcing that Tony Abbott was a misogynist.
Gals! Just because he is tough on you and your ideologies doesn’t warrant him be named a misogynist.
If I was in Parliament and had some of you as political adversaries and strongly criticized you, would I be called a misogynist? You took on the job and you should know by now, politics is an aggressive place to operate within, and if you can’t take the heat get out of the kitchen!
A true misogynist has a pathological hatred of the female sex, they often act out their hatred by raping and murdering girls and women. They feel mentally, materially and sexually threatened in the presence of a confident, self-assured woman. In some instances any female.
I have met quite a few and I can spot one a mile off, yet not all go to the lengths of murdering or raping women of course! They are uncomfortable in my presence and I forever avoid them when I can. But haven’t found it in male politicians from any party.
They might not, or do not agree with my political opinions, but they do not fit the profile of a misogynist.
