Mrs Larkin said the idea came to her and she took it to Weswal director Sandra McMahon who was excited about the exhibition.
"I said to the artists I asked that this was a gallery they could trust," she said.
The artist approached colleagues from around the world, hoping some would be open to exhibiting in Tamworth.
"I am amazed at the people who said yes," Mrs Larkin said.
Beautiful Bizarre editor-in-chief Danijela Krha will come to Tamworth to open the exhibition in October 2017.
"No one else is as qualified as Danijela," Mrs Larkin said. "Beautiful Bizarre has a huge readership and it is a fantastic resource for everything happening in the contemporary art world."
The Tamworth artist will include one of her works in the exhibition.
