Amber Lawrence featured on the first episode with host Aleyce Simmonds and Tamworth will contribute an episode every fortnight to the website, that features more than 60 'capital' cities around the world.
Each city has a balcony where artists, visiting and resident, perform a song and speak to the host and the videos are uploaded to the Balcony TV website for the world to see.
On Wednesday, visiting country artists Adam Brand and Lyn Bowtell performed a song each on the balcony above the Post Office Hotel, with the performances to appear online in coming months.
Bowtell said she loved it because she believed Australians performed live music so well.
"Balcony TV is shining a light on country and roots music and it's great if we can get it out there more," she said.
The next performer from Tamworth to appear on the website will be Jared Scott.
