It was a thrilling final home game for the hosts, with number eight Henry Coldham opening the scoring eight minutes into play as the side dominated proceedings.
"This game was really important to the boys who were determined to put on a good show for their last home game for the season as well as being Old Boys' weekend,” TAS coach Alan Jones said.
"It was particularly pleasing to see the patience the boys showed on the field, sticking to their structure and working through the phases while also limiting Shore's attacking opportunities.”
While the blustery conditions, which peaked earlier in the day at 90km/hour, played havoc with the boot, Jones said the team maintained a good discipline.
"Every pass stuck even with that strong wind, and for Eddie Pitt to convert three from seven was outstanding," he said.
