A man has been arrested and charged with an alleged aggravated robbery at Quirindi last month.
About 7.30pm, on Sunday 30 September, 2012, a man entered a service station on Station Street, and allegedly approached the console operator and demanded she hand over money.
The woman handed over a small amount of cash and the man left.
Following a lengthy investigation police arrested the 37-year-old man just before midday today, at a house in Centre Street, Quirindi.
He was taken to Tamworth Police Station and charged with aggravated robbery.
He was refused bail and appeared in Tamworth Bail Court yesterday.
He has been remanded in custody and will appear at Tamworth local Court on 22 October, 2012
