GAVIN Groth will "mull over" a home track start for one of his two runners in Monday's $20,000 Bushy's Taxis And Cabs Manilla Cup (1400m) at Gunnedah Jockey Club's Riverside Racecourse.

The Gunnedah trainer has nominated About Time and Red Hot Dane in the Manilla Cup but while the latter will run he isn't sure about starting About Time.
"Red Hot Dane will definitely start but About Time has drawn the car park and they have moved the rail out 3m too," Groth said.
"In my experience here that favours the frontrunners a bit more and it is a lot harder for the backmarkers. They have moved the rail out to get a better surface though."
The Riverside track was rated a Soft 5 but rain early Saturday might ensure the rating doesn't improve.
"It's a beautiful day here with a bit of wind though," Groth said on Saturday morning.
"Should be in the Soft range somewhere on Monday, just a good winter's track. But I will mull over About Time over the weekend and I might look at taking him to Rosehill for a Class 3 1500m Highway race next Saturday.
"He had a crack at one of those once before and ran a real gallant fifth, only beaten a couple of lengths."
If Groth does head to Rosehill with About Time he's hoping Red Hot Dane can return to her best for the stable in the Manilla Cup.
"She's been out of form," he said.
"But she did run a much better fourth to Our Masquerade here the other day. Leanne (Henry) got off her and said she's ready to win."
He hopes she's right because she has drawn well (3) and likes the soft surface as well as the home track.
There has been some good form come out of that Gunnedah race won by Our Masquearade with runner-up Buck Rogers winning at Moree on Thursday for Sally Torrens.
Torrens also has the chance to grab more success on her home track with possibly five runners today - Hands Up (R1), Schmizmo (R2 3rd emergency), Ichi Sun and Thalj (R3) and Stirling Shadow (R4).
