THIS week you may have heard that the Tactical Action Group (TAG) within the Oxley Area Command based in Tamworth has doubled, to six members.
My message in this letter is clear: support your local authorities, support the police on your streets and report crime or suspicious behaviour. Police can only act on information and intelligence from the community.
We have from today an opportunity to bring down these criminals that are preying on the elderly and vulnerable, and frightening our community.
With TAG and our local police, they need your help to take a tough stance on crime.
Let’s now move forward into the other areas of crime and prevention that the community has asked council, myself and the police to investigate.
This is a positive and vibrant community, let’s help the police to rid our community of this vermin now.
