CNDBA publicity officer Tony Edmonds reckons the bowler of the year award is anyone’s prize at the moment.
“Most of the contenders are playing this Sunday at the Werris Creek Triples,” he said.
“Then we have the final three rounds – North Tamworth Pairs, Manilla Triples and Kootingal Triples.”
The North Tamworth pairs will be played August 6, the Manilla triples on August 27 and the Kootingal Triples September 17 to complete the annual award.
Three players not able to play at Werris Creek are the South Tamworth trio of Scott Thorning, Nic Golledge and Paul Whitton.
They will be in Inverell contesting the Zone 3 State Fours Playoffs at Inverell RSM Bowling Club.
Last Sunday, Zone Pennant playoffs for Grade Six and Seven were finalised with Narrabri going through in Grade Six.
