The competition leaders slotted three goals inside the first 20 minutes and another three in the last in what coach Barrie Pritchard described as another strong performance.
Naomi Spark gave them the lead in the eighth minute when she smashed home a penalty corner.
Tegan Smith doubled their advantage in the 15th after a great run from Julie Rodda across the backline.
Two minutes later Smith swooped on the rebound after Resch had made a great run into the circle but had her shot parried away.
Pritchard said the second half similarly started well for them, with Resch making an intercept only to see her very strong shot saved by Services keeper Michelle Collins.
It was a wait from there for the fourth goal.
Resch created an opportunity early in the second half from an intercept but again Collins denied her.
She couldn’t stop Kate Ferguson in the 26th minute, Ferguson taking a quick shot and scoring off a penalty corner that rolled right to her.
During the last ten minutes Flames attacked strongly and were rewarded with two excellent team goals, Pritchard said.
Resch and Smith reversed roles for the first with Resch making a break on the left side and linking up with Smith, whose attempted shot came back to the top of the circle for Resch to launch high and powerfully into the net.
Another break out of left defence then put Rodda away and her strong shot across the goalkeeper was well deflected by Smith for her third.
“Flames’ overall structure is continually improving and the midfield of Ferguson, Resch and Naomi Spark again controlled a lot of what was happening in the match, although conversion and quality around the circle could certainly be improved,” Pritchard said.
He said the win was built on the back of strong and well- organised defence led by Mel and Ash Allen in the centre, Bek May at left half and Maddi Doyle in an unfamiliar role as right half.
“They managed to keep Services’ attack without a penalty corner throughout the match and continually put their team on the attack,” he said.
Emma Marvel also made a strong return from an ankle injury at left striker and was unlucky not to score on several occasions.
The strikers in general worked hard throughout the game, he said, their pressing providing many intercept opportunities to counter- attack.
