A MAN who allegedly had child pornography on his mobile phone will reappear in Tamworth Local Court next month to plead not guilty to the charge.
The 28-year-old was arrested on Wednesday, September 19, in relation to files found on two mobile phones that allegedly belonged to him.
The first phone was found at a shopping centre in September last year by a member of the public. It is understood the phone contained 119 images and movie files depicting children in graphic scenes.
When police arrested the man in September this year, he had another mobile phone in his possession that allegedly contained more child abuse material.
Yesterday Magistrate Jennifer Betts continued the man’s bail.
He will reappear in the local court on November 26.
