Selected artworks from local artists Amy Hammond, Terry Allen, Simon Munro and Gomeroi gaayanggal will be on display at the University's department of rural health in Tamworth until Friday.
The public was welcomed to the Johnston St centre to look at the pieces on Tuesday with a welcome to country by Uncle Bob Faulkner and Aboriginal dances and stories by the Gomeroi Dance Company.
The theme for this year's reconciliation week is 'our history, our story, our future', reflecting the ongoing efforts toward reconciliation while recognising the past.
