The Tamworth veterans’ side played six games in the C Division of its NSW Masters Over 50 Hockey State Championship, winning five and drawing one.
It began its State championship weekend with 2-nil wins over hosts Bathurst and Southern Highlands on the Friday.
It drew its first game on Saturday, 2-all, with Goulburn before beating New England 3-nil.
It then beat New England 4-nil in a semi-final on Sunday on its way to a 4-nil win over Goulburn in the final.
The win means the side will now move up to B Division in 2017.
Tamworth also had some selection successes with Malcolm Turner named in the NSW Blues while Ian Woodley is a shadow reserve.
