Baird government under pressure to bring forward election after chaotic Inner West Council meeting

The administrator who was spat on and jostled at a chaotic meeting in Sydney's inner west says he remains willing to work with former councillors among the protesters, while the Baird government continues to defend its decision to delay council elections for more than a year.
