Let us ponder for a moment on the objectivity of Mr Windsor’s claim that “he” procured the accolades that the region had benefited.

Granted, courting Gillard and co procured monetary rewards to the region, but to what avail?
Mr Windsor gets his “pat on the back” for his procurements for New England.
Oh, hang on, what about Peter Draper’s contribution to acquire these benefits in 2003-11?
Now think very positively, we in this region were fortunate to be given these infrastructure gifts of appreciation, so let us look at the “other side of the ledger”.
Rudd and Gillard delivered to the Australian people a government of ignominy, a government of waste, a government that was responsible for the roof insulation program that claimed the lives of four installers and other blunders that had the credentials of failure. Agreed?
Reverting back to our region, Mr Windsor was a confederate of this government.
Allow me to elaborate this brief account of his record in parliament – he voted with Gillard 376 times during divisions and 85 times with the Opposition during the life of the 43rd parliament.
Mr Windsor supported a government that suffered a humiliating defeat, the greatest in modern Australian political history – a truly momentous affiliation.
We in New England are a “piddle” in the ocean as far as Labor’s tenet is concerned.
Possibly Mr Windsor’s ambition (if successful) is to reignite his ambition to be recognised as a valuable supporter of the Labor party again.
Mr Windsor is using his old and tired rhetoric to convince the people of the electorate that he will perform miracles again with his allegiance to a government that has no wisdom.
This is 2016, not 2010.
Voters: use your intellect, not your intuition – don’t be misled by Mr Windsor’s self-assurance, assertive presumption and grandiosity and cajolery for your vote.
The coterie that support the idealistic destination of Mr Windsor will no doubt be overwhelmed if he is unsuccessful.
Consider the “health scare” that persuaded him to retire from politics in 2013.
Why would Mr Windsor risk his health for a comeback in politics?
Does he ignore the repercussions if his health fails, or is it an obsession to continue to be a politician of vindictiveness towards the incumbent MP of New England?
Without further remonstration towards Mr Windsor, I sincerely hope that his decision to re-enter the political scene is not detrimental to his health.
However, I do not wish him to succeed in his endeavour to obtain the seat because of the abovementioned truisms.
