During that time I have had many politicians to vote for, including Frank O’Keefe, Ralph Hunt, Rodger Wottan, John Anderson, Kevin Anderson, Tony Windsor, Barnaby Joyce, Peter Draper.
All these politicians have been easily contacted on state and federal matters.
It is almost certain that Mark Coulton will win the seat of Parkes, as my Rhode Island Red rooster would if he was representing the National Party.
We, the voters of Gunnedah, have been put into many different electorates, but the latest decision to put Gunnedah into the Parkes electorate at the next federal election by the Australian Electoral Commission is helpful to the people of Gunnedah.
Parkes is one of the biggest electorates in the world and Mark Coulton cannot possibly serve such a huge area as our federal rep.
All our news on TV and in the papers, i.e., Channel 7 Prime and The Northern Daily Leader and The Namoi Valley Independent never report what is happening in the Parkes electorate. The New England electorate should be where these media outlets cover.
We saw Walcha stand up for their council not to be taken into the Tamworth Regional Council and we the voters of Gunnedah should stand up and keep Gunnedah in the electorate of New England.
