THE Sandy Creek causeway on Soldiers Settlement Rd will be closed to all vehicles from 9am today until 5pm tomorrow.
Tamworth Regional Council is undertaking repairs to the causeway as part of temporary flood damage repairs.
Work at the causeway will include the replacement of the existing steel pipe with concrete pipes to widen the crossing.
This will help to improve the movement of oversized vehicles over the causeway.
All traffic will be diverted through Prices Rd while works are under way.
Anyone requiring further information about the project is encouraged to contact Tamworth Regional Council’s customer service department.
In the event of rain the works will be postponed.
