The boys kept up the tradition by losing their locks for charity, but not before raising a substantial amount of money for the cause.
The Year 12 students have been participating in the fundraiser for more than 15 years and it’s become something of a ritual at the school.
The team from Price Attack lent a hand, volunteering their time for the fundraising effort.
Since 2001, the Farrer boys have raised in excess of $70,000 for cancer research and support organisations such as the Leukaemia Foundation and John Hunter Hospital.
