Since diagnosed, Wayne and his wife Alison have had to relocate to Newcastle for treatment at Calvary Mater Hospital.
Alison has had to leave work to be his full- time carer and number 1 fan through this battle.
Wayne Taylor is well-known in Tamworth and throughout the Northern Inland for his Group 4 rugby league refereeing.
He also managed the “Reflections” nightclub.
Before his diagnosis, Wayne was working for the Hunter New England Linen Service.
Anyone who knows Wayne would know he is a very generous person and first to lend a helping hand.
His family and friends are reaching out to the community to come together and help raise funds to help make this journey a little easier.
Tomorrow night they are hoping as many people as possible “turn it up for Taggy” from 7pm in Blazes nightclub at Wests.
The $65 covers food and live entertainment from Blu, Harley Smith and Anthony Walmsley.
