The project is aimed at helping people with disabilities to live more independently.
The gardens have been planted with vegetables, herbs and even a lemon tree, all of which can be used by the lifestyle group in their cooking classes, to teach people with a disability independent living skills.
Community access clients will also help out, by watering the garden to keep it alive.
It’s been a whole-of-community project, with Bunnings donating the gardening equipment and the plants.
Co-ordinator Penny Plowman says it also gives clients somewhere nice to sit and socialise.
