A FORMER mayor of the Armidale City Council Peter Poggioli has died.
Mr Poggiloli served as an alderman of Armidale City Council and was mayor during 1975-1977.
He died on Friday and will be farewelled at a funeral service at 11am tomorrow in Armidale’s St Peter’s Cathedral.
In a statement yesterday Armidale Dumaresq councillors and staff expressed their condolences to Mr Poggioli’s family.
