Making the choices that lead to self-sufficiency

The NSW Family Day Care Association (FDCA) is promoting its childcare service through a new and exciting marketing plan developed for 2012.

NSW FDCA is an association whose members are approved, quality childcare professionals who work with small groups of children in a home environment. Family Day Care aims to provide flexible, economical, and above all, individualised education and care for children. NSW FDCA empowers parents to make the choices that lead to self-sufficiency.

Established in 1976, NSW FDCA members have cared for more than six million children across NSW.

In this busy day and age, it can be extremely difficult for parents to balance their work schedules with their professional responsibilities. Maternal and paternal leave periods are not as extensive as they once were, and many parents take only a limited time off from work before heading back to the office.

As an experienced childcare association, which has been successfully operating since 1976, we’re able to connect families with educators specialised to their unique circumstances who can adeptly fill the childcare gaps parents might struggle with.

Whether that means newborn care or education and care for young children, we have the educators and the expertise to ensure that each family receives only the highest quality service.

All registered educators are carefully screened to ensure the best possible matches between educators and families.

Family Day Care is approved by the Australian government and it meets national quality standards and regulations. This includes having a service approval to operate, qualified and trained staff, being open certain hours, and meeting health, safety and other quality standards.

Family Day Care offers approved childcare to accommodate and provide flexibility, for the needs of families. There are 100 Family Day Care services throughout metropolitan, rural and remote NSW, with about 5400 registered educators catering to the needs of over 25,000 children a day.

NSW FDCA is promoting its 2012 annual professional development and networking forum “Celebrating Our Future Together”.

Following the success of the 2011 forum, NSW FDCA is proud to once again present a program that is relevant to the ever-changing childcare industry. NSW FDCA is conscious of building a variety of training opportunities, such as the education program and practice, children’s health and safety, physical environment and more to improving the outcomes for the children of NSW.
