Armed robbery charge
A TEENAGER accused of committing an armed robbery in Tamworth a year ago will appear before Bidura Children’s Court in Sydney again on November 13.
The 17-year-old faced the court yesterday after being arrested and charged in Redfern last week.
His arrest followed a lengthy investigation that involved matching DNA and comparing fingerprints found on items taken during the robbery. During the incident on September 30 last year, a 36-year-old woman was held up and robbed of her bag by a man allegedly armed with a knife while she was walking along Goonoo Goonoo Rd.
