FOLLOWING hot on the heels of the Team Penning Australia national championships is the NSW Team Penning Championships.
They will be held in Tamworth on Saturday, October 13.
To further encourage the growth of newcomers to team penning the Tamworth and District Team Penning Association is pleased to advise a new event has been added to this year’s state titles – the maiden.
To qualify, riders do not have to be entered in the open championships or have attended a minimum number of penning meets throughout 2012, and most importantly have not placed first to fifth at any team penning club day in NSW during 2012.
Entries are available to the first 30 teams nominated.
T&DTPA’s Lisa Wilson said riders had a maximum of three runs with each run costing $10.
