She took home the title ahead of fellow grand finalists – Tamworth’s Allison Forbes, left, and Picton’s Missy Lancaster– saying it meant everything to her.
Last year’s Star Maker Mickey Pye performed while the judges deliberated and then he offered his guitar to young Moree boy, Harrison Glasson.
The 1982 Star Maker winner Lee Kernaghan announced the winner after the finalists performed two songs each.
The Star Maker Grand Final was the opening for the Toyota Concert for Rural Australia in Bicentennial Park.
Page performed two originals to take the prize. She will drive away in a new Toyota and also wins media promotion, recording, musical instruments and a trip to Nashville’s CMAFest to perform.
