THE Gold Medallion Media Awards celebrated the winners with a gala concert at Tamworth Town Hall on Saturday night presented by local radio station 88.9FM.

The big winners on the night were Tamworth locals Lindsay Butler and Peggy Gilchrist who won two awards each.
Awards patron Shaza Leigh took home one and said the competition began as a state of origin, with artists awarded for the state they were born in.
Golden Guitar winner Catherine Britt headlined the show with Tamworth artists The Crosby Sisters, Lindsay Butler, Shaza Leigh, Golden Guitar finalist Tom Maxwell and visiting artists including Simply Bushed, Dianne Lindsay and Warren H Williams also performed.
