KIDS at Currabubula Pony Club have been having plenty of holiday fun horsing around with their trusty steeds this week.
The club is running its annual pony camp during the school holidays and although there’s a competitive element, the kids are having a ball and so are the horses.
It is a similar story at many other locations across the region with the pony club camps a school holiday favourite in spring. With horse care, feeding and grooming, the kids are kept busy. Then there’s the riding.
Ample activities keep everyone in the saddle, and apart from the enjoyment, by camp’s end, the kids have acquired a few more skills.
