Robbed at knifepoint in Armidale

ARMIDALE police are continuing their investigations into an armed robbery at a caravan park in Armidale on Monday afternoon.

About 2pm Monday, a 64-year-old employee was working at a computer in the reception area of the park on Waterfall Way when she was approached by two male teenagers from behind.

Both males ran from the scene and the woman was left unharmed.

She was suffering shock but managed to contact police from New England Local Area Command.

A crime scene was established and a search conducted of the surrounding area for the two people involved in the robbery.

At this stage nobody has been arrested and police are urging anyone who knows the identity of those involved to contact them immediately.

The second male is of Aboriginal appearance, possibly aged in his early teens, short brown hair with a blond rat’s tail, an earring in his right ear and a thin build.
