The fair attracted hundreds of people from the city and beyond, as they continued, or started, their Christmas shopping and supported the school at the same time.
As well as shopping stalls, there was a barbecue, facepainting, cake stalls, food stalls, lolly stall, chocolate wheel, jumping castle, lucky dips, hair colouring and nail painting as well as a silent auction and a live band to entertain shoppers.
Organisers have hailed the day a success and enjoyed the support of many businesses, organisations and individuals throughout Tamworth who came to the day or donated items for the raffle and auction.
Fair co-ordinator Danielle Allan said people often said they had trouble gathering volunteers for events like this, but she had people coming forward to help.
“It was a fabulous event and really community-orientated,” she said.
“I can’t fault it at all.”
The event was raising money for St Joseph’s School and St Patrick’s parish, with money going towards resources for the school and the parish.
