Seventy-four students from six primary schools put their minds to the test in the comp, with St Xavier’s Gunnedah crowned overall champions for the third consecutive occasion.
Adjudicators could not split Ethan Waters, from St Joseph’s West Tamworth, and Thomas Randall, from St Xavier’s, for the first prize in the individual category, while fellow St Xavier’s student Jim Brady was named runner-up.
Organiser Maureen McNeill said all of the children enjoyed the day and each participant had gone home with a McDonald’s voucher.
