After gaining just one point in their first three matches, the Wanderers have subsequently taken all 12 possible points and are just one point behind table-topping Brisbane Roar and level with Melbourne Victory, who have a game in hand.

Less than two months since the start of the season, the Wanderers have already won as many games as their disastrous previous campaign. Andreu has formed a strong relationship with fellow Spaniard Dimas in the holding midfield role, forming a triangle with attacking midfielder Mitch Nichols.

"Everyone is playing really well and this is the most important thing," he said. "There's a great atmosphere, not just in those playing in the first 11 but also those on the bench and this is the way to win the title. I'm feeling very good with the team, I'm enjoying every game, I'm feeling good with my [midfield] partners [Dimas and Nichols].

"We feel very good in training but in the games you can see we have a very good relationship. It's not just on the pitch but off it, we have a good feel for each other, and there is a good understanding between us."

Andreu said the team had began to adapt better to the style that coach Tony Popovic tried to implement during the off-season.

"We want to keep with this style of [play], thinking about what we are doing every week and what we are doing in the games," he said. "Of course, during the week, we will check on Central Coast, but what is most important is what we are doing everyday."

The Mariners have struggled to keep up with the top six after a promising start to their campaign and the Wanderers are expected to bring up to 5000 fans to Gosford on Sunday night.

Defender Scott Neville said last weekend's 2-1 victory over Wellington Phoenix, achieved when Mark Bridge scored with five minutes to play, ensured the momentum would keep rolling on.

"We love winning at home, but just winning in general is good," Neville said. "Hopefully we can keep the roll going. Wellington Phoenix were a tough opposition and we broke them down and eventually Bridgey scored a good goal."

However, he warned against the idea that the Wanderers were the finished product and said they needed to press on to make it five straight wins this weekend.

"The mood is really good, we're not getting complacent and we still have a long way to go," he said. "We're nowhere near where we want to be. But the wheels are in motion, we're starting to hit our straps and, if we can keep this run going, it will breed a lot of confidence into the team. We know where we stand moving forward and we've got a lot of hard work to do."
