THE Halloween disco was a huge success and this is due to the dedicated P&C organisation we have at Hillvue School. The stage was decked out with tomb stones, lights and pumpkins.

Creepy crawlies were hanging from every corner and as you entered the hall you had to avoid the overgrown spider keen to consume anything on legs.
The organisation of the music was amazing which resulted in a very well-coordinated evening of dances.
Parents attending the evening also participated throughout the evening.
It was a fantastic night for our spookiest disco of the year.
We were extremely amazed at the variety of costumes and the scary makeup that many of our students were wearing.
Has anyone seen Mr Jones? He was last sighted last week.
Thank you to our P&C for providing food and drinks, motivation and innovation and to members of staff who gave up their time to supervise and support this great night of fun.
Last Wednesday was a very hot night to be cooking a barbecue. Barbecue?
That was no barbeque. Funny shape if I ever saw one. Big round metal container on top of a pile of logs.
Don't know what they were eating, but sausages…well if you think so.
Oh! Just remembered. I saw a tomb stone that read RIP Chirpy Charlie. Found him. Case closed.
Our students have shared some of their Halloween night stories.
Last week Hillvue was finally able to hold their Halloween disco.
It was a frightening experience dear Watson.
Students from all ages arrived at the disco dressed as want-a-be mummies, vampires, monsters, skeletons, witches, jokers and ghosts.
Even the popcorn was jumping around and the sausages on the barbie were sizzling in fear while the soft drink cans kept popping their tops.
What a sight? Chaos was with 99 discussing a solution while Kruella was roaming the pavements. Ahhhhh.

On Halloween I went and stayed at a haunted hotel with two of my wonderful friends.
We had reserved separate rooms and were separated between the many levels of the majestic hotel.
Being Halloween night, one of my friends whom I thought was quite brave, appeared so scared that during the night she feared for her life and screamed.
She screamed so loud and long that lights lit up across the neighbourhood and if there were to be any ghosts, witches, wizards and who knows what else they would have all run off in fear that danger would be coming their way.

During our school's Halloween disco, which had to be held after the Halloween day due to many exciting things happening at our school, students made some gruesome moves to eerie music which became terribly frightening.
So frightening that I began to jingle and jangle. Began to hop and bop. Started to sway and pray as to who would be my next…partner.
