The New England is well represented in the event, with students from the following schools set to participate: Armidale City Public School, Armidale High School, Duval High School, Inverell High School, Moree Secondary College, Nemingha Public School, Tamworth South Public School and Tamworth High School.
More than 3600 students from 400 public schools across the state have been preparing to perform in the annual event.
2015 marks the last year the spectacular will be hosted at the Qantas Credit Union Arena, formerly the Sydney Entertainment Centre, with the venue set to close after December 19.
The Schools Spectacular has been held at the venue since the first show 32 years ago, and was used to test the acoustics of the then-new Sydney Entertainment Centre.
There will be four performances across the two-day event, while tickets are still available, some sessions are filling fast.
