The Maker Lab in the Mall was initiated by Armidale-based NBN coordinator Alun Davies with the aim of bringing activity back to the mall.
TAS director of IT Martin Levins said the initiative was a good way of demonstrating to the public not just the capabilities of the NBN and mobile technologies in general, but the learning opportunities for children it provided.
