The 29-year-old Brisbane-born Today news presenter laughed when asked if she and her beau would ever pull a Karl Stefanovic and Lisa Wilkinson and start hosting their own gig.
"Too difficult," Jeffreys managed, before adding: "I'm going to stick to what I'm doing."
"We had a good time before we were together, but I'm not really sure if it's a good idea now," she added.
Stefanovic, 32, who is the younger brother of Today host Karl, had been working as Nine's Europe, Africa and Middle East correspondent but returned home in February and recently started filling in for Wendy Kingston on Weekend Today while she is on maternity leave.
Jeffreys beat Jennifer Hawkins, Sonia Kruger, Dannii Minogue and Chrissie Swan to win the TV Personality accolade at the Cosmopolitan Fun Fearless Female Women of the Year Awards on Wednesday.
She told Fairfax she was "thrilled" with her title adding: "It was a great honour."
"If I had gone down to the TABs this morning I would have put my money on Sonia Kruger," she joked.
Also at the awards luncheon was former Australian Prime Minister, Julia Gillard, who was the recipient of Cosmo's Fun, Fearless Female Hall of Fame Award.
She spoke on the day about the importance of educating girls worldwide to the audience that included The Bachelorette's Sam Frost, Melbourne Cup-winning jockey Michelle Payne and model Robyn Lawley, at Sydney's Aqua Dining in Milson's Point.
Since stepping down as prime minister, Ms Gillard has continued to fight for women's rights, campaigning for the education of girls in developing countries. She's part of Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign video, too, praising her efforts for gender equality.
"Every woman feels the hard balance between biting their lip versus calling out sexist remarks," says Ms Gillard. "For me, looking back on my prime ministership, I wish I called out sexism earlier, rather than presuming it was going to fade away as people got used to a woman prime minister."
