Students have been very busy with a full week of practices and three performances for CAPERS.
Our junior room looked amazing dancing in their watermelon costumes for the stage one mass dance.
Our senior room did a great job singing and bopping with the choir.
A lot of time goes into getting ready for a performance of this scale but it's really worth it to see how much the students got out of being involved.
A huge thank you to all our parents who supported their children and helped with transport and costumes.
Especially Ronnie and Sarah-Jane, Jayne, Rachael, our staff and Sacha for all their help and involvement throughout the week.
Pet day
Our junior room had a visit last week from the Responsible Pet Care team.
This was good timing as this Friday, November 20, our SRC are organising a pet day at school. This will no doubt be a good fun day.
In the gardens
Our vegetable garden, with four garden beds and a melon patch, is under way.
The children, Miss Cudmore and Mr Elphick have worked hard planning and building this area and have had lots of fun along the way.
It looks great - can't wait til the fresh vegies are ready to do some cooking activities with them.
Mrs Klump has been speaking with Landcare about some native shrubs for our front garden revamp.
