Burn-out bike rider in court
A 24-year-old man will face court after he was caught doing burn-outs on his motorbike in a Tamworth residential street.
On Wednesday about 5pm, the man was seen by police performing the alleged burnouts in Macgregor St, West Tamworth.
Police said he was emitting a significant amount of smoke and noise during the incident.
His bike was confiscated and he was charged with aggravated burn-out as a result.
His licence was also suspended and he was issued with a field court attendance notice to appear at Tamworth Local Court on October 15.
