Held in Tamworth’s Australian Equine and Livestock Event Centre it attracted a full house of 4000 spectators.
And they weren’t disappointed, with the bulls serving it up to the cowboys from Brazil, USA, New Zealand and Australia.
Brazilian Cristinao Cunha was the big winner on the night, from Coonamble’s Nathan Burtenshaw and fellow Brazilian Robson Aragao.
“This kind of response will help as we progress towards establishing this as a major signature event for the region and expanding the number of performances,” Glenn Young told The Leader.
“We are keen to make a long-term commitment with Tamworth and develop a business plan that will not only see this event expand in the number of performances, but also generate a positive economic impact that the region can count on annually.”
