IN ANSWER to Carmel Madirazza (NDL, Monday, September 17): before the recent local government elections the NSW Electoral Commission published on its website a “candidate information sheet” for all candidates.
Five Tamworth Regional Council candidates recorded membership of the National Party but no candidates recorded that they had been “nominated as a candidate” by any registered political party.
