A SPECIALIST police strike force operating in the Moree area has arrested a third youth in the past week over a string of break-and-enter offences in the area.
It's the 10th arrest by the Barwon Local Area Command officers of strike force Tilton, who have been involved in a number of measures throughout the year to arrest and remove property offenders.
The officers charged a 15-year-old boy late on Monday night for the three break-ins he allegedly committed during the past two years.
It follows the arrests of a 17-year-old boy last Thursday and a 16-year-old boy the day before, who were linked to at least 10 more break-in incidents around Moree over recent years.
The most recent arrest was in relation to two break-and-enters to a Jones Ave home in February 2011 and to a Chester St home in August.
He was also charged with a third aggravated break-and-enter to another Chester St home on August 18.
The boy was refused bail and will appear in Moree Children's Court at a later date.
Police said five of the offenders arrested by Tilton remain in custody pending court appearances.
