You couldn't fault the line-up.
Festival organiser Lou Bradley chose very well ... perhaps a little too well.
At times, it was the same situation we're faced with in Tamworth during the festival, with your favourite acts slotted in at the same time in the four venues around the Murwillumbah Showgrounds.
You couldn't fault the setting, either. With the backdrop of majestic Mount Warning and the wonderful hills surrounding the beautiful North Coast town, it was one of the prettiest festival venues I've visited.
I'm just hoping this will be the first of many.
As it was the October long weekend, there were a number of musical and sporting events competing for crowds, so the timing might have to be tweaked for next year.
However, it was the first one. And, as I said, I sure hope it isn't the last.
All the artists appearing on stage said they loved the atmosphere, which really did make it a unique event.
Lou had a great team around her, including her own family, and a fabulous volunteer army who really stepped up to the plate.
