The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked to a property north-east of Gunnedah yesterday afternoon after a 70-year-old man fell four metres from a ladder.
He suffered head and lower back injuries and was assessed at the scene before being flown to Tamworth hospital in a stable condition.
Meanwhile, the Newcastle-based Westpac chopper had to be tasked to Parraweena near Quirindi on Monday after a property accident.
The Tamworth-based helicopter was already on a mission when the emergency call for a transport was received by crews, prompting the Westpac Rescue Service to deploy the Newcastle chopper.
A man, who fell from his motorbike, suffered head and neck injuries.
He was treated at the scene and flown to John Hunter Hospital for further treatment.
