Investigators are appealing to the public for assistance following the latest break-ins last Friday and on Sunday.
Police said that in the early hours of last Friday morning, someone broke into a Stephen St hotel and stole a quantity of alcohol.
On Sunday, another Stephen St business was broken into.
Police said unknown offenders forced entry into the store about 2.30am and stole a quantity of alcohol.
Barwon Local Area Command officers, including forensic examiners, began an investigation into the matters and are seeking assistance from anyone who was in the area at the time.
Investigators are calling on anyone who witnessed suspicious activity, or who knows the offenders involved, to contact them.
