The U19 Rising Stars got the ball rolling, coming back from two goals down after a fast starting southern side nailed two early goals courtesy of Brodie King and Matt Dunn.
Norths looked out of sorts early, there only real shot on goal coming in the closing stages of the half, although once one went closer they followed it up with a few more.
Some choice words from coach Mark Gwynne at halftime hit their mark, the visitors taking control of the match.
While South would have a few chances they couldn’t capitalise on their early start, and in a 25 minute period the Northern side struck back, Liam Georkas and Callum Dolby scoring eight minutes apart to even the scores.
Just as the game threatened to be a repeat of last year’s draw East Armidale striker Louis Russoniello found the back of the net form a handy cross to seal the comeback and lift the trophy. The All Stars suffered the same fate, after two southern sides featured in the grand final, the Northern side dominated the back end of the game to run out winners 4-2.
