About 8pm on Sunday, two men armed with kitchen knives confronted staff at a restaurant in a shopping complex on Queen Elizabeth Dr.
The men threatened staff with the knife, before one of the men assaulted a woman.
The offenders then stole a cash register and fled.
Police were called to the scene and said the victim did not require medical attention.
Investigators have spoken with witnesses and are appealing for public help to find two men wanted for the robbery.
The first man is described as being aged between 25 and 30 years and about 180cm tall.
He was seen wearing a dark-coloured hoodie, grey or navy loose-fitting tracksuit pants, as well as a dark scarf/bandana with white markings covering his face.
The second man is described as 20 to 30 years old and about 180cm tall.
He was seen wearing a dark-coloured hoodie and with a dark cloth covering his face.
